This 13 hectare tomato greenhouse is located near Petrousa Drama, Greece and built by JM van der Hoeven Greenhouse Builders. The greenhouse is especially designed to withstand the Greece weather conditions and is equipped with the so called pad&fan system, a well known principle and often seen in hot parts of world. It enables the grower to maintain a commonly required and constant inside temperature.
Under supervision of Tebarint several system are installed in achieving an high-tech greenhouse and are also provided with a drip irrigation system suitable for interplanting, a drainwater collection and re-using system, HP-UV sterilizers and a climate computer.
