Commissioned by the Korean government and together with JM van der Hoeven we have realized the construction of the 2,500 m² Jeon-buk Agricultural Training Centre (JATC).
In this complex, located near the city Gimje in the province of Jeollabuk-do, people are getting trained to become growers to eventually work in the inland greenhouses.
We have supplied for in the 8 compartment counting greenhouse all electrical- and water technical installations, controlled by a -Priva Connext climate computer.
The crops are very diverse, such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, strawberry, roses and chrysanthemums. The installations are according to the latest technology with steel cultivation gutters, growlight, drain circulation, Logic Link, etc. and are heated by geothermal heat, for a part in combination with a gas-fired boiler.
In a training room we also have put up 13 PC workstations, all in a network with the Connext.
