This 1.1 hectare greenhouse for roses was built in Almaty, the former capital of Kazakhstan by Growtech Holland. Almaty city is located at the foot of Tien Shan Mountains at an altitude of 1500-2000 meters above sea level.
Besides a complete electrical installation, a grow light system was installed of 108 µmol/m2.s (8.100 Lux) as average light level. Tebarint also provided a generator set, recirculation fans and sulphur evaporators installation, a Priva Integro climate computer, a drip irrigation system, drain water collection and re-using system, a drain water sterilizer LP-UV and a crop cooling system.
