Tour for Life 2011
Charity action by Tebarint employees
Three Tebarint employees will participate in Tour for Life 2011, from 28/8 – 4/9. Cees Kleijwegt, Wim van Paasen and Eric Philipsen will cycle from Italy to The Netherlands, together with the other members of Team Westland Unlimited.
This beautiful but very heavy cycle tour takes 8 days and goes via the Alpes, Jura, Vosges and Ardennes to the famous Cauberg in the south of The Netherlands. The stages vary from 125 km to 225 km and from start to finish the whole tour is approximately 1250 km.
The goal of this mission is fundraising for Medecins sans Frontiers (Doctors without Borders).
Each team has to collect at least € 15.000 before they may participate in the Tour for Life.
At this moment Team Westland Unlimited has reached this goal, but the fundraising continues.
